HWS Laboratory Event Log - Phase 2

All systems under ASHRAE 90.2 (64.3 gpd) draw profile schedule.

6/22/10 Heat Pump Water Heater was connected and started on Default Hybrid Mode. Initial 2.6 Amps @ 10:50AM, 2.9 Amps at 11:50. Shed temp 87.1 F HP discharge air temp 67.5 F.

6/23-6/30/10 Disconnected bottom element to 50 gal on ICs system. A series of thermostat adjustments were made to bring water temperature to ~120 F.

7/1/10 Replaced flow regulator on reference 50 gal. electric water heater.

7/1-7/2/10 Replaced flow regulator on Pv flat plate solar system and installed new SID20 pump with 20 Watt PV panel.

7/6/10 Lowered thermostat setting on ICs/50 gal. system due to 128 F delivery temperature deviation shown on July 5th resulting in higher electric demand (6.9 kwh).

7/14/10 Heat Pump Condensate measurement added (ch 53) at 4:30 PM -- grams of water.

7/30/10 HWS Lab Relative Humidity (RH%) sensor added at noon (12:00 pm), installed on north wall at 56 inches from floor (about same height as HP compressor).
